Rare Made in Japan lefty Tokai Goldstar Sound from around 1984 production, based on the headstock logo "L" series serial number & grey bobbin pickups.
In good condition for age (40 years !) with untouched electronics under the pickguard.
The original small narrow vintage style frets show virtually ZERO visible wear.
Unlike the other 2 or 3 of these we have had in over the years, this one has never had a strap-button on the lower horn for the righty-wants-to-be-Hendrix thing. BUT, like all the other lefty Tokai Strats I have had from era, the pickups are right-hand magnet stagger.
Machine heads are stamped "Deluxe" & the "L" series serial on the neckplate doesn't really need explanation I don't think....
the neck is the very typical shallow (sharp) C that most '80s JDM guitars seem to share.
pictures pretty much tell the rest of the story I think, let me know if you have any questions, picture requests etc
Comes with gigbag
