The PAF® 57 uses a 2½" Alnico 2 magnet as an energy source, creating the conditions for brilliant sound. Using computer-controlled winding machines, we wind up the 42 AWG lacquer wire to add dimension to the carefully matched coils and enrich the voice and dynamics of the guitar while gaining depth without compromise.
NO FEAR These pickups are wax encapsulated which eliminates any whisper of microphone feedback. All poles and studs are nickel plated, and a maple spacer ensures perfect alignment of the coils between the bobbins.
