Rare 2006 production LEFTY `52 American Vintage Reissue Series Telecaster with original Fender badge tweed hardcase.
Stunning 2 piece body that is perfectly shown off due to the ultra thin natural nitro refinish.Yep,someone refinished an AVRI! And the original finish would have put any 70's poly to shame, I've NEVER seen thicker paint on a Fender from any era. It is simply a better instrument with this finish.
Overall, it's in great shape for a nearly 20 year old guitar. Literally 2 tiny visible wear-spots on 1 fret under 2 strings. Wiring changed to the most usable standard 3 way vs traditional mud/neck/bridge.Everything else seems to be original & correct. Slot head screws, serial # bridge, ,unbranded K type tuners etc.
Last 2 pictures show the refinish in process, take a look at the thickness of the original paint!
Please get in touch for more details.
