Many players reach for the comfort, familiarity, and classic appeal of a Strat, yet are seeking different sounds without modification or routing. The Lollar sB Strat offers a unique, modern design to offer a fuller-bodied, crisp sound to fit Strat pickup cavities without the need for additional routing.
Our sB Strat set is based on the individual coils of our popular dB humbucker and is a drop-in replacement for most Strats. You'll notice stronger sustain and note bloom, with a vocal fundamental & lower midrange rather than the usual glassy, bright, and scooped sound of typical Strat pickups. They deliver a thicker sound but still retain clarity and definition like our other blade-style pickups.
They sound great as a set of three or in HSS sets along with the dB Humbucker in the bridge position. The single blade pole piece offers excellent balance between strings for an even response.
Avg. DC: Bridge 7.2K
Recommended Potentiometers: 500k
